Smarty Paws turns three this March! What an incredible three years it has been. We would like to thank each and every one of you that has supported us and stuck with us on our incredible journey. We are so grateful to our loyal customers. You make our job so fantastic – we cannot thank you enough!
Our birthday seems like a good time to reflect and celebrate some of the wonderful things we have achieved so far, and to think about what we want to achieve in the future. Of course, the most wonderful thing is meeting and getting to know some of the most incredible people (you – our customers!) and beautiful dogs. It feels as though we have established a real sense of community here at Smarty Paws, and we love seeing how you and your dogs are getting on. Come give us a visit!
Reflecting back on our first year 2017, saw us win the Best New Business of The Year in the Best of Broxtowe awards! This was such a great achievement for us, something that we are immensely proud of. It was so lovely to be recognised for all the hard work we have put in. We would like to say thank you to everyone who nominated us, we are doing everything we can to maintain these high standards as we grow and keep improving our services.
Another major highlight has been the launch of Smarty Wedding Paws, our bespoke service that offers a variety of packages, from grooming to chaperoning, we want to help your dog be part of your special day. Smarty Wedding Paws has been going from strength to strength and we look forward to lots of gorgeous weddings this summer. This year we have been working hard and dedicating lots of time into perfecting our practice. We have been doing extra training to make sure we can provide the greatest service possible, like becoming first aiders- for dogs! The course was so fascinating and gave us an even deeper understanding of your precious pet and how to take the best care of them. We ended 2019 on a wonderful high when we won Chilwell Road’s best dressed window. Our lovely Leanne had the pleasure of joining the Mayor and Kingdom Rapper to switch on Beeston’s Christmas lights, what a highlight!
We also have a new member of the family to introduce…
Joining Leanne, Abbie and Karen to complete the ultimate dream team is…Finnegan! Leanne has been dreaming of getting her very own standard poodle since she began her grooming career fourteen years ago! Finally, her dream has come true and she is now the very proud owner of the gorgeous Finnegan! You can come and see him and Bruno down at the salon every day. It is such a job and privilege to be able to work with our dogs by our side!
As we grow and improve, we have had to face the reality that unfortunately our pricing is no longer sustainable and has had to increase (for the first time since March 2017!).
