Your wedding day will be one of the best days of your life and Smarty Wedding Paws can offer you a wedding day chaperone service for your dog. It’s only natural you would want all the family there especially the dog, to celebrate your special day.

Bronze Package
from £175
- Collect your dog from your home at an agreed time
- Taken to Smarty Paws Dog Grooming Salon for a deep cleansing shampoo and condition using specialist products to suit your dog followed by drying the coat with high-quality dryers to achieve the perfect finish. De-shed/groom, finishing with nails clipped, ears plucked/cleaned and cologne applied if you wish. Your dog is then clean, fresh, smart and ready for your special day!
- A bespoke wedding dog attire, be it a flower wedding dog collar or bow tie
- Brought to the wedding venue at an agreed time
- Chaperoned at the wedding, kept under control at all times.
- Ensure he/she has adequate toilet breaks, refreshments, and quiet time if the experience is too overwhelming.
- Presented for the photoshoot
- Take your dog home at an agreed time
Silver Package
from £200
- Collect your dog from your home at an agreed time
- Taken to Smarty Paws Dog Grooming Salon for a deep cleansing shampoo and condition using specialist products to suit your dog followed by drying the coat with high-quality dryers to achieve the perfect finish. Trim the hair around the hygiene areas, eyes and feet. Finishing with nails clipped, ears plucked/cleaned and cologne applied if you wish. Your dog is then clean, fresh, smart and ready for your special day!

- Brought to the wedding venue at an agreed time
- Chaperoned at the wedding, kept under control at all times.

Gold Package

A full hair clipping to a style of your choice or in line with the standard for their breed. Finishing with nails clipped, ears plucked/cleaned and cologne applied if you wish. Your dog is then clean, fresh, smart and ready for your special day!

Mileage
All package prices include mileage up to a 15-mile radius of Smarty Paws salon. Any additional mileage and also travel time will be charged in addition to your package price. Mileage will be charged at a rate of 0.45p a mile.
Doggy Attire
Smarty Wedding Paws feel doggy attire should be chosen by yourself in order that it compliments the theme of the day. We will, therefore, be delighted to share with you various choices/design ideas leading up to the big day.
Payment Terms
A 30% non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your booking. This should be paid during your initial consultation. The remainder of your balance must be paid 12 weeks prior to your wedding day.
Dog sitting
Overnight stays at their own homes can be added at an additional cost per day.

Things to consider if you would like your dog at your wedding
- Ensure that you book a dog-friendly wedding venue or one with an outside area for photographs
- Make your guests aware that a dog is attending the wedding, in case of allergies. A lovely idea is to send a ‘Save the date’ card featuring a photo of your dog
- You may wish your dog to simply be a guest of honour at your wedding but if you would like them to play a specific role in the ceremony, think carefully about how this will work. Popular choices are a dog ring bearer or a dog flower girl but ensure that your pet has the right temperament to cope with all the attention.
- Let your wedding photographer know that you are planning on bringing your dog to your wedding. This will ensure that they are ready to capture your adorable pet in action and come up with some great fun ideas for wedding photos.
- Please allow at least 6 months’ notice if you would like to use Smarty Wedding Paws as our services are very much in demand. To avoid disappointment we would advise getting in touch as soon as possible.
