I am so proud of Beeston, having grown up here and now being a business owner. I like how many small independent local businesses there are that all contribute to by adding their personal touches to the character of the town. It is such a friendly and supportive community to be part of.
Smarty Paws is based on a drop off/pick up service, and a lot of our customers come from where Smarty Paws was first established in Nottingham Road area (Sherwood, Bestwood Park, Bulwell etc.).
For them to travel to Beeston, and then spend their time in the area whilst waiting for their dogs, gives me so much pleasure in being able to bring even more business to Beeston.
To be nominated and shortlisted as a finalist for the Best of Broxtowe Borough Awards in the new business category – we simply wouldn’t be in such an honourable position without you.

The Ceremony will take place at The Walled Garden, Beeston Fields on June 22nd. It will consist of a red carpet entrance and drinks reception with a two-course dinner and will be hosted by the BBC’s Mark Dennison.
